Raymond Kon(8th July), more commonly known as Ray Kon, known in the Japanese version as Rei Kon (金李, Japanese: Kon Rei, Chinese Pinyin: Jīn Lǐ), is a fictional character from the anime and manga series of Beyblade. In the anime, he is voiced by Daniel DeSanto in the US/UK version, whilst voiced by Aya Hisakawa in the Japanese version. In the Japanese versions, his given name is often written in katakana as “レイ.”

He is generally shown as to be calm and open minded. In fact, many comparatives can be made between his personality and Yin and Yang, which he appropriately wears the symbol of, the Taijitu. The forces of Yin and Yang are generally described as opposite but complementary forces, and the same can be said about him. He can be calm and collected, but also a fierce competitor. These two qualities can be referred to as opposites, but they are not absolute in their differences, and the same can be said about Yin and Yang. Furthermore, the forces of Yin and Yang are interdependent, meaning that they cannot exist without their counterpart. This can also be compared to Ray’s personality. His whole nature seems to be similar in principal to this metaphysical concept.

Tyson is a strong-willed teenager who is not afraid to speak his mind and in so doing, he seems to get into more trouble than most kids his age. He seems to be a very emotional person, and quite often worries about his friends, causing him to become angry. Tyson isn’t a born leader, yet because of his magnetic personality and self-confidence, people seem to gravitate toward him. No situation is too risky for Tyson, and he often relies on nothing more than luck. His style of playing is aggressive and all in all, Tyson is one fierce competitor.

Takao was voiced by Motoko Kumai in the Japanese version, while Tyson is voiced by Marlowe Gardiner-Heslin in the English version.

Tyson is famous for his sense of humour especially during season one where he is constantly making fun of everybody. His sense of humour constantly dwindles after each season and by the end of the series as he becomes more introverted and more serious about his responsibility as the best Beyblader in the world.

Tyson is a really popular person inside the series. He had a lot of fans even when he was an amateur. When he first won the regional tournament, many people picked up Beyblading just to be like him and defeat him. He has a lot of fans in his school as shown in Beyblade V-Force, much to Hilary’s dismay. Although he is popular, he doesn’t seem to have many close friends outside of his beyblading ones. His closest friend throughout the series has been Kenny whom he goes to school with. Outside of Beyblade, Tyson doesn’t make friends easily because of his aggressive nature, but he usually leaves a profound effect on the ones he does, completely changing their attitudes and way of life.

In V-Force, Tyson is often late to school and runs to school on a seemingly daily basis. He seems to be a very fast runner.

Tyson’s older brother, a wise blader with much knowledge to offer in Beyblade G-Revolution. He also has a counterpart; Jin of the Gale (Hurricane Jin (疾風のジン, Shippu No Jin?) in the Japanese version). Hiro first taught Tyson how to beyblade. Hiro initially joined the BEGA League as Brooklyn’s coach, but later joined the G-Revolutions to bring BEGA down and defeat Brooklyn. His bitbeast is called Metal-Driger.

While he is determined and strong of spirit in battle, Tyson can be rash and take too many risks. Tyson isn’t very good at beyblade customization and lacks common sense sometimes, which would make people think he is a jock of sorts. Tyson’s beyblades uses special attacks that take on the form of a Dragon, and they are generally one of the fiercest, more powerful beyblades around. They use the wind element. Dragoons are known to get better with each model possibly describing how Tyson develops as he grows up and learns from his mistakes. Tyson’s bit-beast is Dragoon.

Tyson seems to get his strange skills from his Dragoon beyblade, such as being able to outrun dogs and cars.

In each season, Tyson starts out with the latest series of beyblades, while the rest of the Bladebreakers use their previous models, with the exception of Ray in V-Force, who uses Driger V in his first beyblading appearance. In V-Force, Tyson and Ray start the series with Dragoon V and Driger V, while Kai and Max do not get V series beyblades until later in the series. In G-Revolution, Tyson starts out with Dragoon G, while Kai, Ray, and Max use their V2 beyblades until the World Championships start(again, Ray can possibly be excluded, as he first uses Driger G in the Asian qualifying tournament, while Kai and Max use their V2 blades for the Japan and America qualifiers respectively). Daichi gets Strata Dragoon G later on in the championships.

Tyson’s Dragoon beyblades are one of the few beyblades to use the left spin gear (the team F-Dynasty’s beyblades can also use left spin).

Popeye the Sailor is a fictional hero famous for appearing in comic strips and animated films as well as numerous TV shows. He was created by Elzie Crisler Segar, and first appeared in the daily King Features comic strip Thimble Theatre on January 17, 1929.

Although Segar’s Thimble Theatre strip, first published on December 19, 1919, was in its tenth year when Popeye made his debut, the sailor quickly became the main focus of the strip and Thimble Theatre became one of King Features’ most popular strips during the 1930s. Thimble Theatre was carried on after Segar’s death in 1938 by several writers and artists, including Segar’s assistant Bud Sagendorf. The strip, now titled Popeye, continues to appear in first-run installments in Sunday papers, written and drawn by Hy Eisman.

In 1933, Max and Dave Fleischer’s Fleischer Studios adapted the Thimble Theatre characters into a series of Popeye the Sailor theatrical cartoon shorts for Paramount Pictures. These cartoons proved to be among the most popular of the 1930s, and the Fleischers—and later Paramount’s own Famous Studios—continued production through 1957.

Since then, Popeye has appeared in comic books, television cartoons, a 1980 live-action film (Popeye, directed by Robert Altman), arcade and video games, and hundreds of advertisements and peripheral products.

In most appearances (except during the World War II era), Popeye is a middle-aged independent sailor (or “sailor man,” as he puts it) with a unique way of speaking, muscular forearms with two (sometimes one) anchor tattoos, thinning red hair, and an ever-present corncob pipe (which he toots like a steamship’s whistle at times). Despite some mistaken characterizations over the years, Popeye is generally depicted as having only one blue eye, his left. In at least one Fleischer cartoon, Bluto refers to Popeye as a “one-eyed runt.” It has never been revealed specifically how Popeye lost his right eye, though he claims it was in “the mos’ arful battle” of his life. Later versions of the character had both eyes, with one of them merely being squinty, or “squinky” as he put it.

Popeye’s strange, comic, and often supernatural adventures take him all over the world, and place him in conflict with enemies such as the Sea Hag and Bluto. His main base of operations is the fictional town of Sweet Haven. Popeye’s father is the degenerate Poopdeck Pappy, who does not share his son’s moral righteousness and is represented as having abandoned Popeye in some sources. Popeye’s sweetheart (and in some sources, wife) for over 77 years has been Olive Oyl, although the two characters often bickered, especially at the beginning of Popeye’s appearances. Popeye is the adoptive father of Swee’Pea, an infant foundling left on his doorstep. (Sweet Pea is a term of affection used by Popeye; in the cartoon We Aim to Please, he addressed Olive Oyl as “Sweet Pea” at one point.)

In addition to a gravelly voice and a casual attitude towards grammar, Popeye is known for having an apparent speech impediment (a common character-distinguishing device in early cartoons), which either comes naturally or is caused by the ever-present pipe in his mouth. Among other things, he has problems enunciating a trailing “t”; thus, “fist” becomes “fisk” (as sung in his theme song, which makes it conveniently rhyme with “risk”) and “infant” becomes “infink.” This speech impediment even found its way into some of the titles of the cartoons.

Popeye is depicted as having superhuman strength, though the nature of his strength changes depending on which medium he is represented in. Originally, the comic-strip Popeye revealed that he had gained his strength by rubbing the head of the rare Whiffle Hen. He later said he was strong because he ate spinach. The animated shorts depicted Popeye as ridiculously strong, but liable to be pummeled by the much larger Bluto. When fed up with this treatment—or when exhausted for whatever reason—he would eat spinach, which would instantly restore and amplify his strength to an even greater level. (At normal strength, Popeye appears capable of lifting or pressing approximately 4,000 lb (1,800 kg); when invigorated by spinach, he can lift or press about 36 tons.)

Other differences in Popeye’s story and characterization show up depending upon which medium he is presented in. While Swee’Pea is definitively the adopted child of Popeye in the comic strips, he is often depicted as being related to Olive Oyl in cartoons. The cartoons also occasionally feature family members of Popeye that have never appeared in the strip, notably his look-alike nephews Peepeye, Pupeye, Pipeye, and Poopeye.

Tom and Jerry was a successful and long-running series of theatrical short subjects created by William Hanna and Joseph Barbera for Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer. The cartoons centered around a never-ending rivalry between a housecat (Tom) and a brown mouse (Jerry), whose chases and battles often involved comic violence. Hanna and Barbera ultimately wrote and directed one hundred fourteen Tom and Jerry cartoons at the MGM cartoon studio in Hollywood, California between 1940 and 1957, when the animation unit was closed down. The original series is notable for having won the Academy Awards for Best Short Subject (Cartoons) seven times, tieing it with Walt Disney’s Silly Symphonies as the most-awarded theatrical animated series.

In 1960, MGM had new Tom and Jerry cartoons produced by Rembrandt Films, led by Gene Deitch in Eastern Europe. Production of Tom and Jerry shorts returned to Hollywood with Chuck Jones’ Sib-Tower 12 Productions in 1963; this series lasted until 1967. Tom and Jerry later resurfaced in TV cartoons produced by Hanna-Barbera and Filmatio Studios during the 1970s, 1980s, and 1990s. Today, Warner Bro. owns the rights to Tom and Jerry, and produces the series Tom and Jerry Tales for The CW’s Saturday morning “Kids WB” lineup, as well as a string of Tom and Jerry direct-to-video films.

The plots of each short usually center on Tom’s frustrated attempts to catch Jerry, and the mayhem and destruction that ensues. Since Tom rarely attempts to eat Jerry and because the pair actually seem to get along in some cartoon shorts (at least in the first minute or so), it is unclear why Tom chases Jerry so much. But some reasons given may include normal feline/murine enmity, duty according to his owner, Jerry’s attempt at ruining a task that Tom is entrusted with, revenge, Jerry saving other potential prey (such as ducks, canaries, or goldfish) from being eaten by Tom, or competition with another cat, among other reasons.

Tom rarely succeeds in catching Jerry, mainly because of Jerry’s cleverness and cunning abilities, but sometimes because of Tom’s own stupidity. Tom sometimes beats Jerry, usually when Jerry becomes the instigator or when he crosses some sort of line.

The shorts are famous for some of the most violent gags ever devised in theatrical animation: Jerry slicing Tom in half, shutting his head in a window or a door, Tom using everything from axes, pistols, explosives, traps and poison to try to murder Jerry, Jerry stuffing Tom’s tail in a waffle iron, kicking him into a refrigerator, plugging his tail into an electric socket, pounding him with a mace, club or mallet, causing a tree to drive him into the ground and so on. Despite the frequent violence, there is no blood or gore in any scenes. A recurring gag involves Jerry hitting Tom when he’s preoccupied, with Tom initially oblivious to the pain – and only feeling the effects moments later, and vice versa; and another involves Jerry stopping Tom in midchase (as if calling for a time-out), before he does something, usually putting the hurt on Tom.

The cartoon is also noteworthy for its reliance on stereotypes, such as the blackening of characters following explosions and the use of heavy and enlarged shadows (e.g., Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Mouse). Resemblance to everyday objects and occurrences is arguably the main appeal of visual humor in the series. The characters themselves regularly transform into ridiculous but strongly associative shapes, most of the time involuntarily, in masked but gruesome ways (see also Cartoon physics).

Music plays a very important part in the shorts, emphasizing the action, filling in for traditional sound effects, and lending emotion to the scenes. Musical director Scott Bradley created complex scores that combined elements of jazz, classical, and pop music; Bradley often reprised contemporary pop songs, as well as songs from MGM films, including The Wizard of Oz and Meet Me In St. Louis. Generally, there is no dialogue in Tom or Jerry, apart from the occasional few lines in certain moments. The character, Mammy Two Shoes, has lines in every episode. Most of the dialogue from Tom and Jerry are the high-pitched laughs and gasping screams, which may be provided by a horn or other musical instrument.

Before 1954, all Tom and Jerry cartoons were produced in the standard Academy ratio and format; from late 1954 to 1955, some of the output was dually produced in both Academy format and the widescreen CinemaScope process. From 1956 until the close of the MGM cartoon studio a year later, all Tom and Jerry cartoons were produced in CinemaScope, some even had their soundtracks recorded in Perspecta Stereo. The 1960s Gene Deitch and Chuck Jones shorts were all produced in Academy format, but with compositions that made them compatible to be matted to Academy widescreen format as well. All of the Hanna and Barbera cartoons were produced in three-strip Technicolor, the 1960s entries were done in Metrocolor.

Tom is a Russian Blue cat, who lives a pampered life, while Jerry is a small brown mouse who always lives in proximity to him. Tom is very quick-tempered and thin-skinned, while Jerry is independent and opportunistic. Despite being very energetic and determined, Tom is no match for Jerry’s brains and wits. By the iris-out of each cartoon, Jerry usually emerges triumphant, while Tom is shown as the loser. However, other results may be reached; on rare occasions, Tom triumphs. Sometimes, usually ironically, they both lose or they both end up being friends. Both characters display sadistic tendencies, in that they are equally likely to take pleasure in tormenting each other. However, depending on the cartoon, whenever one character appears to be in mortal danger (in a dangerous situation or by an enemy), the other will develop a conscience and save him. Sometimes they bond over a mutual sentiment towards an unpleasant experience.

Although many supporting and minor characters speak, Tom and Jerry rarely do so. Tom, most famously, sings while wooing female cats; for example, Tom sings Louis Jordan’s Is You Is Or Is You Ain’t My Baby in the 1946 short Solid Serenade. In one short, Tom, when romancing a female cat, woos her in a French-accented voice similar to that of screen actor Charles Boyer. Co-director William Hanna provided most of the squeaks, gasps, and other vocal effects for the pair, including the most famous sound effect from the series, Tom’s leather-lunged scream (created by recording Hanna’s scream and eliminating the beginning and ending of the recording, leaving only the strongest part of the scream on the soundtrack). The only other reasonably common vocalization is made by Tom when some external reference claims a certain scenario or eventuality to be impossible, which inevitably, ironically happens to thwart Tom’s plans – at which point, a bedraggled and battered Tom appears and says in a haunting, echoing voice “Don’t you believe it!”, a reference to some famous World War II propaganda shorts of the 1940′s. One short, 1956′s Blue Cat Blues, is narrated by Jerry in voiceover (voiced by Paul Frees). Both Tom and Jerry speak more than once, in the 1943 short The Lonesome Mouse.

Pikachu was Ash’s starter pokemon. Ash considers Pikachu to be his best friend. In the first episode, Pikachu disliked him, and shows it by shocking him frequently. It still shocks him to wake him up in emergencies or when he is accidentally in the way of an electric attack. His Pikachu has the particular characteristic of hating Poké Balls so it always tags along with Ash. At the end of first episode, the two of them become best friends after Pikachu saves Ash from a flock of Spearow. Pikachu was the first Pokémon that Ash obtained, and the only one that has always been with him. Ash’s Pikachu also refuses to evolve into a much more powerful Raichu. Ash was reluctant to expose Pikachu to the Thunderstone and Pikachu is quick to express it has no desire to change who it is. In the end, Pikachu shows that it is still able to beat its evolved counterpart Raichu. As a running gag, Pikachu destroys the bicycle of the female lead in each version of the series shortly after meeting them.

Aside from being part of Ash’s Pokémon fighting arsenal, Ash’s Pikachu has played a key role as a companion to not only to Ash but Ash’s entourage as well – defending them as well as occasionally intervening when hostility arises in the group. (This usually being something like quarreling between Ash and Misty) Though apparently loyal to Ash, Pikachu has always had the most sympathy toward Misty and her friendship with Ash. Ash’s Pikachu has a sensitive dislike toward hostility between friends, especially his own. During the Gym battle between Ash and Misty, though Pikachu enjoys the spirit of competition with anyone, Pikachu was very reluctant and deplored to participate in the battle due to the vendettas involved and meltdown prior which made the atmosphere of the match far beyond just competitive. Pikachu also greatly helps Ash in communicating with fellow Pokémon among the group which has helped in Ash’s success in befriending Pokémon.

Pikachu is often considered to be exceptionally powerful for its species, which makes it a consistent target for Team Rocket. As such, Pikachu is his main enforcer during battles. It has grown physically and mentally superior over the course of the series through battles and through his role as an entourage companion to Ash and his group; so much, in fact, that it is able to dominate even some of the statistically most powerful Pokémon he has confronted. Pikachu is Ash’s second Pokémon to have defeated a Legendary Pokémon, having defeated Pyramid King Brandon’s Regice in Ash’s third battle against him. It is also one of the only known Pokémon of the series to use the extremely powerful but reckless Volt Tackle yet, a move involving an electrically charged Pikachu running at high speed and colliding head on with the enemy.

Pichu (ピチュー, Pichū?), known as the “Tiny Mouse” species of Pokémon, are the pre-evolved version of Pikachu. Their cheeks are pink, and they have small, plump bodies, short, jagged tails, and large ears. They are not skilled at storing electricity, so when amused or startled, they often discharge jolts of electricity strong enough to affect adult humans. This lack of control becomes more stable as they grow older. The electricity that they do manage to keep stored is limited by their small electrical pouches in their cheeks. When the air is dry or on stormy days, they charge much more easily, leaving the sound of crackling static electricity emanating from them. They play with each other by touching tails to set off sparks, which also acts as a test of courage. They run the risk of shorting each other out, and scaring themselves into a crying fit with the flash of sparks that emanates from them.Pichu first appeared in Pokémon Gold and Silver, and is one of many pre-evolutions introduced into the series. At one point, Nintendo GameCube game called Pichu Bros: Party Panic was in development but never released, featuring Pichu as the main character. Instead, the game was integrated into Pokémon Channel as an important part of the story-line.Pichu is also an unlockable character in Super Smash Bros. Melee, voiced by Satomi Kohrogi. It has a similar moveset to Pikachu’s, in fact they’re exactly the same, although its electric attacks inflict a small amount of damage to it, and it trades weight for power. Pichu relies on items, it’s ultimate strength, in Melee to fight, along with static effects from it’s attacks. Pichu does not appear in Super Smash Bros. Brawl, although the goggles used for one of it’s alternate colors are given to Pikachu.

Ash Ketchum, known as Satoshi (サトシ, Satoshi?) in Japan, is a fictional character and main protagonist from the Pokémon anime. There are also incarnations of him in a plethora of manga adaptations, of which include The Electric Tale of Pikachu, Pocket Monsters Zensho, and Ash & Pikachu. He is loosely based on Red, the protagonist of the games Pokémon Red and Blue. The family name “Ketchum” is a pun on the series’ franchise’s former tagline and slogan, “Gotta catch ‘em all!”.

At the beginning of the series, Ash was 10 years old, and later, in the episode “The Battle Of The Badge”, Ash said that it was a whole year since he and Pikachu had visited Viridian City, making him 11. Furthermore, in the short called “Pikachu & Pichu” which was attached to Pokémon 3: The Movie, he said the day when the events depicted in the short took place was the anniversary of the day he met Pikachu, meaning his age at that time would be at least 12. However, two seasons later, the official Japanese Pokémon website reported that Ash was the same age as May, who was 13 or so years old at the time. This and the fact that the two are at the same height suggests that both of the characters are the same age. However, as the story progressesd, Ash must now be 13 going on 14.

Ash is a caring and valiant trainer but he can be confident to the point of arrogance and is known for being stubborn at times. He also has quite the reckless streak, which has led him to troublesome situations and even gotten him killed, although he was revived shortly thereafter. But when in a Pokémon battle, he is highly competitive, and he shows tremendous presence of mind, taking advantage of the battlefield as well the nature of his and the enemy Pokémon’s moves to claim victory after victory, though he has been known to lose from time to time.

Ash has matured greatly over the course of the series, and has considerably improved his abilities as a trainer, but his earnestness and determination remain the same. During the first season of the series, Ash trained to catch more Pokémon than his childhood rival, Gary Oak, although Gary has caught more. He soon begins to focus more on each of his Pokémon’s abilities. He also impresses many trainers by winning battles in which his Pokémon has a type disadvantage. At the Johto League Silver Conference Ash finally won a battle against gary.

Throughout the anime, Ash has met a number of rivals, including Richie, whom he faced in the Indigo League, and Casey, a diehard Electabuzz fanatic. During Pokémon tournaments, Ash has made rivals out of Harrison, Jackson, Morrison, and Tyson (the last of which went on to become the champion of the Hoenn Pokémon league). Near the beginning of Pokémon: Diamond & Pearl, Ash meets an arrogant young trainer named Paul, who quickly becomes his new rival.

Ash’s primary nemesis is a group of comical antagonists named Team Rocket. Ever since the second episode, “Pokémon Emergency!”, two Team Rocket operatives named Jessie and James, along with a talking Meowth, have always tried to steal his first Pokémon Pikachu but have always failed. There are some occasions when they work together like the Pokémon: The Movie 2000.

Ash’s mother is Delia Ketchum (Hanako in Japan). She is a caring and thoughtful woman, though occasionally oblivious as her son, and in the English version of the anime often pesters him to change his boxer shorts every day, a gag throughout the early episodes of the first few series.

The identity of his father has remained unknown. One reference to him exists in the anime. During a phone conversation between Ash and his mother in the second episode, she states to her amazement that he got from Pallet Town to Viridian City in one day. “It took your father four days to get there when he started Pokémon training”, she says, “He’ll be so proud!”. A line from the play, Pokémon Live!, suggests that Delia, at one time, had a relationship with the leader of Team Rocket, Giovanni when she was a teenager, but in the anime, no evidence of Giovanni being Ash’s father has been shown currently.

In the episode “Showdown at Dark City,” Ash went by the name of Tom Ato (tomato) after spotting some ketchup that Pikachu was eating. He had to disguise his name, so that his real name would not get a bad reputation, since he was dealing with the rivaling Yas and Kas gyms.

These are the Pokémon that Ash is currently carrying around with him in Sinnoh. The first two are ones that he has with him at the beginning of his adventure. Just like Hoenn, Ash only intended to bring Pikachu, but Aipom sneaked on the ship to Sinnoh. Like all Pokémon Trainers, Ash can only have up to six Pokémon in his active battling roster.

When Ash first had six Pokémon (Pikachu, Butterfree, Pidgeotto, Bulbasaur, Charmander and Squirtle) Ash caught a Krabby and it was transferred automatically meaning that Pikachu was counted as one of Ash’s Pokémon he has in his party. Pikachu stays with Ash even when he is not on Ash’s party, as demonstrated during the Silver Conference in the Johto League. Ash’s Larvitar also stayed with Ash even though Ash had six Pokémon (Pikachu, Noctowl, Bayleef, Cyndaquil, Totodile, and Phanpy), although it is up to debate on whether or not Larvitar is actually his.
Flygon’s wings kick up a cloud of dust and sand each time they flap, so that whenever Flygon moves, it is surrounded by a constant sandstorm. This provides Flygon with a useful cover from enemies and other unwanted visitors who lose themselves in the dust cloud, while Flygon itself maintains perfect vision thanks to red covers that shield its eyes from the storm. But it is at a disadvantage in the jungle because the trees are so close together they cover almost the entire floor of the jungle from a bird’s-eye view. When inside a Flygon-created sandstorm, the only thing one is aware of is the melodious sound of Flygon’s wings, which can resemble the notes of a song. Because of this, and the Pokédex related cry, it is thought that perhaps Flygon has the ability to buzz its wings at a rapid pace to create a melody.
Kyogre represents Pokémon Sapphire and appears on the cover art for the game. Kyogre represents the primal force of the oceans; as such, it has the power to bring forth storms, constant rain and massive floods. It is part of the creation myth of the Pokémon world. According to legend, a titanic battle between it and Groudon created the oceans and the land, and the two were sealed beneath their respective elements. Despite being the creator of the oceans, Kyogre still came and helped Manaphy when Manaphy needed help as any other regular pokemon.

In Pokémon Sapphire, Team Aqua tries to awaken and control Kyogre. It is awakened by a blue orb that the group actively seeks. They eventually awaken Kyogre, but they are stopped by the player in the video games. Kyogre made its first movie appearance in the ninth Pokémon movie, Pokémon Ranger and the Temple of the Sea. In the movie, Kyogre helps Ash, May, Pikachu and Manaphy to protect the Sea Temple and defeat The Phantom.

Kyogre will be a Poké Ball Pokémon in Super Smash Bros. Brawl.
It lives as a migratory bird of prey; it constantly flies towards warmer climates in a migratory fashion, and the moment it spots its prey, Swellow dives down at a steep angle and snatches the hapless victim tightly with its talons. It never misses its targets in this respect. Swellow is quite fastidious with its own body, especially its wings. When it is not cleaning its wings and tail feathers regularly, two Swellow are gathered together and unhesitantly take it upon themselves to clean each other’s wings. A Swellow’s tail feathers indicate that the individual is healthy if the feathers are standing at attention.

In the Pokémon anime, main trainer Ash Ketchum owned a Swellow, and he used it prominently throughout his journey in Hoenn.
